Thalipeeth is a kind of Indian flat bread or roti. It is made of multi-grain flour that makes it very rich in nutrition.
Thalipith is usually eaten with fresh homemade butter or curd. Being highly nutritious, the multigrain roti is an ideal breakfast or a healthy snack.

Ingredients of Bhajani Thalipeeth :
Multi grain flour (Bhajani) - 2 bowls flour makes 3 medium sized thalipith
Red chili powder, Salt. Asafoetida, Turmeric
Cumin coriander powder, Ajwain
Onion or cabbage
Sesame seeds
Coriander leavesRecipe of Multigrain Roti / Bhajniche thalipeeth :
- Take multigrain flour in a large mixing bowl.
- Add Red chili powder, Salt. Asafoetida, Turmeric, Cumin coriander powder and Ajwain.
- Make thin vertical slices of onion. Raw, vertically chopped cabbage can also be used instead of onion. Finely chop coriander leaves.
- Add onion, coriander to the flour. Add water little by little and knead the dough. The multi grain flour needs a little more water than regular roti dough because the ingredients are roasted.
- On a plastic sheet, tap a ball of a dough circularly to make a circular flat bread.
- It usually does not stick to hands but in case it does, use a drop of oil.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on the flat bread.
- Grease flat fry pan and put the thalipith carefully on it. Cover with lid for 2 minutes.
- Uncover, flip and roast from the other side as well.
Serve hot with curd or buttermilk or any wet chutney.
