Green Tomato - 250gm
Onion - 1 no
Green chilies
Thick milk of coconut - optional but tastier
Coriander powder, Coriander leaves
Tempering
Green tomato vegetable recipe :
- Chop the raw tomatoes, make big pieces.
- Vertically slice onion. Vertically cut green chilies.
- Heat oil for tempering, add mustard, cumin, asafoetida, turmeric, little red chili powder.
- Add onion and green chilies. Fry a little. Add chopped raw tomato.
- Cook completely on low-medium flame. Add salt per taste.
- Once cooked, add the 1st extract of coconut i.e. thick milk of coconut (Click to know how)
- Boil for a few second. Garnish with coriander leaves.
Raw tomato vegetable can be made using Onion-Garlic-Masala (Kanda lasun masala) as well.
