Bhindi with gravy recipe :
- Chop lady finger,, preferably bigger sized pieces.
- Chop onion finely.
- Mash tamarind in water and add jaggery to it.
- Grind together garlic and red chilies to make paste.
- Heat oil in a wok, fry chopped onion and add the paste.
- Little asafoetida and cumin will enhance the taste.
- Add a part of tamaring jaggery mixture. Cook for a minute.
- Add chopped bhindi and salt as well. Stir well and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add remaining tamaring jaggery mixture and cook completely.
- Garnish with coriander leaves, mint leaves.
